Our Season

The St. Cloud Symphony Orchestra season begins in September and concludes with the Lemonade Concert in late June. Each year we perform a Preview Concert, four Subscription Concerts, two Classics for Kids Concerts, and a Pops concert, with additional performances added throughout the season.

Rehearsals take place on Monday evenings, with an occasional rehearsal on an alternate evening during the week. Subscription Concert performances are on Saturday evenings. All rehearsals and performances are held on the St. Cloud State University Campus in Ritsche Auditorium – Stewart Hall.

The St. Cloud Symphony Orchestra is a paid orchestra, offering the following pay rates to musicians:

  • Principal Musicians: $20/Service
  • Section Musicians: $12/Service

A small mileage stipend is also available per service to those musicians driving more than 30 miles one way.

All musicians must meet eligibility requirements to work in the United States or be able, at their expense, to meet all eligibility requirements no later than the date upon which services would commence.

The St. Cloud Symphony Orchestra provides equal opportunity to participate in and/or benefit from the programs to every person regardless of race, national origin, color, sex, age,  religion, sexual orientation, or disability.
